OF YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION: To define the utilization and training of non-clinical patient safety observers throughout the organization. The role of a non-clinical patient safety observer is to provide direct observation of an appropriate acuity of patient at all times. The non-clinical patient safety observer responsibilities are limited to observation and notification to clinical staff of changes in patient behavior warranting clinical staff assessment and/or intervention. Qualifications. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - High School or equivalent - Basic computer knowledge - Prefer candidates furthering their education in direct patient care roles.
