PATIENT MEAL ASSEMBLY (DIETARY) PER DIEM - Blessing Health System : Job Details

Tray Line Assistants are responsible for assembling patient trays and assisting in the dish room between meal periods. Tray Line Assistants are responsible for: Reading printed tickets and ensuring the corresponding items are on the tray. Understanding diets and following instructions related to diet or allergy information. Filling bulk stock items, crates of milk, boxes of condiments, trays of food, and boxes of juice. Assisting with cleaning dishes, washing carts, changing chemicals, and putting dishes away between meals. Using an iPad to promote/demote trays through the tray monitor program and communicating with hosts when trays need delivered. Ensuring quality food and compliance with diets when the checker is not present on the tray line. Requires the use of abrasive chemicals and operation of heavy kitchen appliances/machinery. Tray Line Assistants work on their feet for the majority of an 8 hour shift.
