Patient Concierge, Front Desk Associate - Cardinal Health : Job Details

This position is located at: South Bay Radiation Oncology Center 959 Lane Ave Chula Vista, CA 91914 The Patient Concierge, Front Desk Associate coordinates medical services such as scheduling appointments, referrals, and other necessary services at South Bay Radiation Oncology Center. They are the first point of contact when patients enter the facility, and therefore must maintain excellent customer service in a busy outpatient radiation oncology center. This position full time, Monday Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm.

• Greet patients both in person and over the phone
• Schedule and re-schedule appointments
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information, updating patient records as needed
• Coordinate the overall flow and functions of the front desk
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-3 years of experience, preferred
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Must be able to multi-task
• Previous customer service experience is a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology, preferred
