Patient Care Technician - Monroe Regional Hospital - Nursing Administration - Full Time - Nights - ProMedica Health System : Job Details

Under close supervision of a licensed nurse, and according to established policies, procedures, and specific instructions, performs a variety of basic patient care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients. Accountabilities: 1. Maintains established standards of patient care and policies and procedures of ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital and the nursing department. 2. Answers call lights, ensure patients needs, acts upon routine requests, or relays information to the proper person. 3. Assists patients with or provides personal hygiene care and other routine services patients requiring assistance such as bathing, dressing, shaving, offering, and removing bed pans, and so forth. 4. Serves patients with food trays and snacks and removes trays. Assists feeding patient if necessary. 5.
