This role includes assisting with pre- and post-treatment assessments, monitoring dialysis parameters, ensuring accurate documentation, and responding to patient needs and emergencies.Key Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse Assist with pre- and post-dialysis patient assessments and document findings Monitor and record dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets Report significant changes in the patient's condition to the supervisor immediately Assist in all emergency operational procedures and respond appropriately Initiate basic CPR measures in cardiac or pulmonary arrest situations Maintain patient safety and infection control standards during treatment sessionsRequired Experience: High School Diploma or GED CPR Certification (must be obtained prior to or during onboarding) Willingness to complete a formal hemodialysis training course Ability to follow clinical protocols and procedures accuratelyNice-to-Have Experience: Previous patient care experience in a hospital or similar clinical setting Education in physical sciences and/or laboratory techniquesRequired Skills: Patient care assistance in a clinical setting Basic CPR and emergency response skills Accurate clinical documentationPreferred Skills: Hemodialysis procedure familiarity Observation and reporting of patient conditions Adherence to safety and infection control protocolsAdditional Skills: Communication and teamwork Ability to work under supervision in fast-paced environments Willingness to learn and adapt to patient care technologiesAbout the Client:A leading healthcare provider specializing in dialysis care and patient wellness, committed to delivering safe and effective treatments in collaboration with skilled nursing teams.About GTT:GTT is a minority-owned staffing firm and a subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, a Native American-owned company in Alaska.
