Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join their team. As a Patient Care Tech, you will be part of the patient care department supporting a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Pay Range: $28.00
Shift: 8 hours per shift
What's the Job?
Provide direct, patient care for assigned patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
Assist licensed nurse with pre and post dialysis patient assessments and their documentation.
Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters on Dialysis Flow Sheets.
Report any significant information or change in patient condition to the supervisor.
Initiate basic CPR measures in the event of cardiac and/or pulmonary arrest and respond to emergency situations related to dialysis treatment.
What's Needed?
Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred, but not required.
Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of hemodialysis.
Successfully complete CPR Certification.
High school degree or G.E.D. required.
Education in physical sciences and/or training in laboratory techniques preferred.
