Patient Care Tech - King's Daughters Medical Center : Job Details

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible to assist the health care professional by performing various care activities and related nonclinical services. Provides assistance to the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the delivery of patient care including caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient and family unit in a professional, courteous, supportive manner, under the general supervision of the Patient Care Manager or his/her designee. DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assists the RN/ LPN with non-nursing tasks such as but not limited to crash cart checks, quality control checks, retrieving equipment/supplies, keeping the department clean and stocking of supplies.
