Patient Care Partner - Nursing Unit PRN - Part Time - Guthrie Healthcare : Job Details

Employee works with other members of the patient care team to deliver care to specific patient populations. The employee will maintain competency for population specific groups with consideration of physical, communication, safety, nutrition, and psychosocial needs. Education, License, & Cert High School Grad or Equivalent Experience No experience required. Essential Functions Participates in the delivery of patient care for population groups under the direction of an RN/ LPN including but not limited to the following: Lifting, turning, and positioning patients utilizing Safe Patient Handling equipment ( Observing confused and difficult patients AM/ PM Hygiene care Toileting, shaving, washing, brushing hair, dental and mouth care Feeding Assisting with range of motion exercises Mobilizing patients - transfers and ambulation, utilizing Safe Patient Handling equipment ( Exercise protocols Discontinuing foley catheter Simple dressing changes Incentive spirometry supervision Surgical preps...Patient Care, Nursing, RN, Care Partner, Part Time, Patient, Healthcare
