If you thrive in a supportive and innovative environment and enjoy making a meaningful impact, consider joining our team at Lenox Hill Mind Care.We are currently seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support cutting-edge treatments in behavioral health, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine) therapy, for individuals with depression and other mood disorders. This is a part-time position with hours ranging from 25 to 32 per week, and requires the ability to travel between our two offices: Gramercy in Manhattan and Scarsdale in Westchester.Position OverviewAs a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be trained and certified to assist with TMS and Spravato treatment delivery under the supervision of our medical directors and clinical team. You will also be responsible for a range of front and back office responsibilities to ensure an exceptional and seamless experience for every patient.Responsibilities Clinical Duties
  • Administer TMS and Spravato treatments in accordance with provider protocols
  • Prepare treatment devices and review treatment plans with patients
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, including taking vitals and conducting wellness checks
  • Administer psychiatric rating scales to track treatment progress
  • Document clinical notes accurately in the EHR and communicate relevant updates to the clinical team
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any patient comfort or safety concerns during treatment
Administrative Duties
  • Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments, patient demographics, and insurance information
  • Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries via email
  • Support providers with administrative tasks as needed
  • Coordinate insurance authorizations and understand related billing workflows
  • Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards at all times
Requirements Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and at least one year of experience in a patient care or mental health office setting
  • A High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Medical Assistant certification, or other relevant clinical certification may be considered with additional, applicable work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a behavioral health or medical office environment
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Biological Sciences, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Calendar)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - can be provided if not already held

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-first approach
  • Comfortable working with a vulnerable mental health population
  • Prior medical office or behavioral health experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel between Gramercy (Manhattan) and Scarsdale (Westchester) locations
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism required
Location & ScheduleThis position will primarily be based at our Upper East Side, NY center, but candidates must be willing to travel to our Scarsdale, Westchester location as needed.Standard business hours are Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but availability from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM is required to accommodate patient scheduling needs.Salary Description $25-28 an hour
