Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, registering, and discharging patients effectively.
  • Assist with back-office duties as necessary, ensuring cross-training within scope of practice.
  • Accurately collect and input patient demographics and financial information during registration.
  • Verify and update insurance information to ensure accuracy at the time of registration.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical insurance plans, co-pays, deductibles, and coverage limits.
  • Collect all insurance and co-pay amounts at the point of service.
  • Respond to phone inquiries with a patient-centered approach to enhance patient experiences.
  • Facilitate patient flow by communicating appropriately with providers and patients about arrivals and delays.
  • Manage medical records requests to ensure continuity of patient care.
  • Support new employee training and onboarding activities.

Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Current CPR certification - One year of customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting - Proficiency in using basic PC software, including Microsoft Office
