Role Overview

As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide essential, patient-centered care by performing various delegated basic patient services under the supervision of a registered nurse. Your contributions will ensure a safe and clean environment for our patients, complying with all hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement nursing care plans through direct and indirect patient care.
  • Record initial and ongoing patient information, including vital signs and intake/output measurements.
  • Assist with patient mobility and daily living activities while ensuring proper body mechanics.
  • Support specimen collection for diagnostic tests with accuracy.
  • Engage in best practices that improve patient experience and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training within 90 days of hire.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of healthcare experience and prior CNA or PCT experience.
