Patient Care Assistant - Per Diem - Shriners Hospitals for Children : Job Details

The Patient Care Assistant assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCA provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned. Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families. Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate. Qualifications Education. High School Diploma / GED Certification/ Licensure. Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or one year experience as a nursing assistant.
