Plains Regional Medical Center seeks a Patient Care Assistant to assist our MRI patients. Transport patients between clinical departments and nursing units. Transport patients needing admission, inter-unit department transfer, or discharge from facility. Provide observation and companionship to appropriate hospitalized patient. Assist and provide basic ADLs as appropriate and directed. Provide general support for the operation of a nursing department including assuring availability of supplies and equipment as pertaining to transport Type of Opportunity: Full Time FTE: 1.000000 Exempt: No Work Schedule: Days Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Less than one year experience in hospital setting and patient transport Current BLS required.
