We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Assistant to support patient care and administrative duties in our vibrant medical office. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers and nurses in delivering patient care under their guidance.
• Execute basic clinical skills and specimen collection, monitoring patient changes and documenting care efficiently.
• Maintain medical equipment and supplies, including stocking, cleaning, troubleshooting, and ensuring examination areas are ready for use.
• Perform administrative tasks like filing, reception duties, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to take appropriate actions in a fast-paced environment while working independently.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification required before start date.
• A minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience, or graduation from an accredited medical assistant program.
• BLS certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer and valid for at least sixty days upon hire.
