Position Summary:

The Patient Care Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting patients by meeting their basic needs and assisting with activities of daily living under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This position involves clear communication with patients, families, and team members to ensure a safe and clean environment for all.

Education/Certification:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a certified nursing assistant program preferred, or active Certified Nurse Assistant certification upon hire
• Completion of classroom training on Nurse Aide competencies is required during the introductory orientation period
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification upon hire or within the introductory orientation period
