The Patient Business Services Manager oversees daily ambulatory operations in high-volume patient care areas. Responsibilities include pre-registrations, verifications, registrations, reservations, financial counseling, and collection of third-party and private receivables.

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Continued Employment: CPR
Experience REQUIRED:
- Five to seven years of hospital/healthcare business office or financial management experience.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Leadership experience in clinic operations.
Experience PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of business office, patient billing, or collection/reimbursement procedures in healthcare.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, 10-key, and math skills.
Education/Training REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Education/Training PREFERRED:
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related fields.
- Nursing or clinical training is a plus.
Independent Actions:
- Assist senior management in planning, directing, and managing operations of assigned patient care areas.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, administration, and external customers to ensure excellent service delivery.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of all administrative support staff within the area.
Additional Requirements:
- Some extended hours and weekends may be necessary.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting, strong recall, reasoning, problem-solving, clear speech, legible writing, reading, logical thinking.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, multiple priorities, frequent customer interactions, and adapt to change.
