Job Description

🌟 Join Our Team as a Senior Patient Account Expert! 🌟

Are you a billing wizard with a passion for numbers, problem-solving, and making a real difference in healthcare? We're looking for a detail-loving, claim-taming, reimbursement rockstar to help us keep our accounts in top shape!

In this role, you'll be the go-to pro for insurance billing and claims follow-up — from commercial carriers to Medicare, Medicaid, and everything in between. You'll help patients by ensuring their claims are processed accurately and on time, and help our team by sharing your knowledge, insights, and billing brilliance.

This isn't just billing — it's a mix of strategy, detective work, tech-savviness, and leadership. You'll work with various electronic systems, spot trends before they become issues, and support your team with reports, training, and process improvements.

If you're someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and loves geeking out over claims codes — this job is calling your name.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

An associate degree OR 7 years of solid billing/claims experience — we value both education and hands-on know-how

At least 3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or billing office doing what you do best: working insurance claims

Deep knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing

You're tech-savvy — Excel, Outlook, Word, and 10-key are second nature to you

You know your way around HIPAA transaction sets (like 837i), CPT/ICD/HCPCS codes, and revenue codes like a pro

Strong critical thinking and communication skills — you're great at solving puzzles and explaining the solution clearly

A natural leader who enjoys helping teammates grow and improve

Perks of the Job:

Be part of a supportive, mission-driven team

Make a visible impact on patient satisfaction and financial operations

Use your expertise to improve processes and innovate how we work

Plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and step into leadership
