Patient Account Associate - OSF Healthcare : Job Details

The Patient Accounts Associate is responsible for the billing, payment posting, or collection of accounts receivable for professional and/or hospital claims within the Revenue Cycle. This position requires basic understanding of the Revenue Cycle and the importance of evaluating and securing all appropriate financial resources for patients to maximize reimbursement to the health system. This individual must also have basic knowledge of, healthcare revenue cycle functions, and general office procedures. They must be capable of communicating clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with peers, supervisors, payors, physicians, patients, and other departments. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience: Minimum of one year revenue cycle experience including billing, claim follow-up, registration, payment posting, or patient financial services.
