Make a Difference The Patient Account Assistant overlook the patient and insurance billing refund process within Revenue Cycle operations. The Patient Account Assistant will identify any inappropriate insurance payments and follow daily system balancing procedures. This role will research unidentified payments made and perform other related work as requested. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. • Two (2) years' experience in a healthcare setting, financial institution and/or cash operations required. • Familiarity with Epic work queues strongly preferred. • Experience in healthcare/medical billing strongly preferred. • This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely after the initial training period with the expectation to work on-site on an as needed basis per the needs of the hiring department.
