Join a team that puts patients first! We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to provide outstanding customer service and support to patients. This is an onsite role located at various locations throughout the Chicagoland Area.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients—whether in person or over the phone. You'll handle scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and provide accurate information while delivering an exceptional patient experience. This position plays a key role in supporting both patients and clinical teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service while following the patients first philosophy.
  • Respond to patient questions, concerns, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Accurately collect and verify patient information, including insurance and demographics.
  • Schedule appointments and perform medical necessity checks.
  • Provide out-of-pocket cost estimates and communicate financial information clearly.
  • Protect patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Use multiple technology systems including Epic, NDAS, ASF, and online insurance verification tools.
  • Manage scheduling workflows efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Participate in process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance operational efficiency.

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of customer service experience (healthcare or medical office experience preferred).
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written.
  • Comfort with technology, data entry, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to type 40+ WPM.
  • A customer-first mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
