Patient Access Representative - Schuyler Hospital : Job Details

Schuyler Hospital is hiring for a Part Time Patient Access Representative. This candidate will be responsible for greeting and registering patients. Responsible for efficient processing of patients during the check-in and check-out process. Performing clerical duties such as: answering telephones, patient electronic scheduling, insurance verifications, forms and letters, and performing collection when appropriate. Meets communication needs of patients, their families, providers and staff. This candidate will report to our Ovid Clinic or Schuyler Hospital- wherever is needed. This is primarily a day shift position, but could be required to cover an evening or night shift if needed.

Requirements:

Education:

* High School Graduate or equivalent, vocational school preferred.

Experience:

* Registration and clerical experience preferred, but not required

Licensure:

* Must be able to cover other offices on short notice.
