Job Type Part-timeDescriptionBurnett Medical Center is seeking a casual Patient Access Representative to work as needed to fill-in shifts (day, evening, weekend) in all Patient Access areas. SHIFT/HOURS:Casual, varied shifts. DUTIES: Greet, register, and schedule patients, verify insurance coverage, answer/redirect phone calls. Collect co-pays and up-front payments. Assist with other registration responsibilities as needed. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. Clerical experience and/or previous registration experience is preferred. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, compassionate personality, ability to multi-task, self-starter, and a team player. EPIC experience and medical field background a plus, but not necessary.
