Job Title: Patient Access Specialist Location: Boulder, CO Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) or Monday - Thursday (4x10-hour shifts) Pay Range: $19 - $21 per hour (based on experience) Overview: We are hiring a Patient Access Specialist to join our healthcare team in Boulder, CO! This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients from the moment they walk in the door. You'll be the first point of contact and an essential part of the registration process. Responsibilities:
- Greet patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and provide information or assistance as needed
- Register patients and accurately enter exam orders into the system
- Obtain and verify patient demographics, insurance details, authorizations, and appropriate codes
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow
- Support other front desk and operational tasks to ensure a positive patient experience

- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in healthcare or medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations is a plus
