Responsibilities

The Patient Access Rep serves as the liaison between Finance, Nursing, and Physician offices. The role obtains accurate demographic information, records, and verifies all pertinent information from insurance companies with respect to a patient's authorization for services, eligibility, and benefits.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

1+ years' working in the medical/and or medical insurance fields.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent customer service skills and strong ability to multitask.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
