Join our Gastroenterology Team as a Patient Access Professional II! Experience with insurance verification, prior authorization, and billing experience strongly preferred! GENERAL OBJECTIVES: Provides professional and friendly reception and registration duties. Organizes patient flow; keeps physicians and patients on schedule. Maintains and documents patient files in a timely and accurate manner. Supports billing, patient estimates and time of service collection efforts. Obtains prior authorization for Spine Center procedures and surgeries Possesses exceptional communication, decision making, organizational, and interpersonal skills and act under direction as well as on their own initiative QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree Skills: Exceptional customer service skills required. Courtesy, patience and tact when dealing with the public Strong computer and typing skills.
