About the Position:
Responsible for facilitating patient registration, including identification, demographic collection, financial verification, and compliance documentation. Handles co-pay collection, cash reconciliation, and emergency patient arrivals while coordinating with departments for smooth patient flow. Manages incoming calls, appointment scheduling, and ensures excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
What we are looking for:
Minimum:
High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or certification in a healthcare-related field is highly preferred.
Minimum of one year of customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in computer use required; experience with electronic health records is preferred.
Preferred:
Experience using Excellian.
General medical terminology.
Insurance verification and/or patients registration experience.
