Oneida Health is actively seeking a dedicated Patient Access Advisor to join our team for day shifts on the Hospital's Switchboard and Main Registration desk. This pivotal role involves coordinating, prioritizing, and completing front-end patient registration activities, ranging from pre-registration to patient discharge. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and computer skills, ensuring accurate and efficient patient record management. This position includes scheduled hours every other weekend. Key Responsibilities: Collect detailed information for the patient record. Demonstrate care and concern when interacting with and informing customers. Protect confidentiality/privacy and avoid gossip in verbal, written, and electronic forms of communication or information sharing. Demonstrate friendliness when greeting all customers.
