Terms and Conditions apply**The Pathology Specialist provides accurate and timely testing and results to requesting physicians and other healthcare professionals for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.The Pathology Specialist should consistently utilize excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers at all times. A positive and professional interpersonal style with a strong commitment to the team effort is mandatory.Licensure, Certification, Or Registration Requirements For HireCertified by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or the National Credentialing Agency (NCA) or equivalent categorical certification preferredLicensure, Certification, Or Registration Requirements For Continued EmploymentClinical Laboratory Specialist in Cytogenetics (CLSp(CG)) certification within three (3) years of employment in position (applies to Cytogenetics Lab only)Experience REQUIREDMinimum of one (1) year of clinical laboratory experience utilizing laboratory principles, procedures and technical skillsExperience PREFERRED: N/AEducation/training REQUIREDMinimum of a Bachelors of Science Degree in a Life Science from an accredited program*
