Job Description :
Facility in Dixon, IL seeking Lucrative Pathology locums coverageRates: $250/hr, night call $500, call-back $280/hr, weekend call $1500 base and $280/hr call-back.Position Details
  • Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (no overtime)
  • Call Responsibilities: Night call and possible 24-hour call
  • Workload Includes:
    • Sign-out of pathology cases
    • Grossing surgical specimens (assistance provided by histotechs)
    • Clinician support and phone consultations
    • Peripheral blood smear interpretation
    • Blood bank issue resolution
    • Cellular adequacy checks for FNAs and CT-guided biopsies
  • Privileges Available: Full Privileges
  • EMR System: Cerner
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pathology
  • Active Illinois License (CSR License Required)
  • DEA Certification Required
  • ACLS Certification Required
  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience
  • Strong experience in grossing, cytology, and general pathology case review
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload efficiently
