An established hospital laboratory in Palm Springs, CA is actively seeking a Pathologists' Assistant to join its anatomic pathology department. This full-time, day-shift position offers a highly competitive hourly wage and the chance to work in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical setting with exposure to a broad range of surgical cases. Location: On-site in Palm Springs, CA Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Friday Pay Range: $54.94 - $83.06 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) What You'll Do:
- Perform gross dissection and description of complex surgical specimens
- Assist with frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
- Accession specimens and ensure appropriate sample handling and labeling
- Maintain documentation and digital imaging of specimens as needed
- Uphold laboratory safety, compliance, and infection control standards
- Collaborate with pathologists, histotechnologists, and other lab staff to ensure timely processing
What You'll Need: - Master's degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program (required)
- Certification as a Pathologists' Assistant (ASCP PA) or eligibility
- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred (strong new grads considered)
- Strong anatomical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent documentation skills

Job Requirements What You'll Need: - Master's degree from a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program (required)
