PathA Adjunct Faculty - Touro College & University System : Job Details

A faculty member with the rank of instructor or above is responsible for teaching in the lecture and/or laboratory setting. He/she is assigned to provide instruction in a portion of the curriculum for which he/she has suitable training and experience.

The following outlines the basic responsibilities of this position. Other duties are to be assigned as necessary:

• Prepare and deliver lectures or laboratory lessons on assigned topics.
• Participate in assessment of student performance through appropriate examination methods as assigned.
• Promote an appropriate atmosphere for student education and be responsive to students' needs.
• Serve on TOUROCOM committees and provide reports, budgetary information, and other documents as requested by department chairs, directors, and deans.
• Advise and mentor students.
• Participate in medical student admission interviews.

Graduate level degree (Master's or Doctoral) in any of the topics mentioned in the job responsibilities section.
