Patch and Paint - VFP : Job Details

We are currently hiring for a Patch and Painter who will be responsible for performing designated duties in the Paint and Patch department following VFP guidelines to create an acceptable and superior exterior finish. Essential Duties Grind columns, roofs, and floors to a smooth surface to prepare for mud and paint.Spray toner on buildings.Mud columns, roofs, and floors to VFP specifications.Paint columns, roofs, and windows.Level floors around weld plates.Repair cracks and chips using mud and/or rock patch, depending upon the severity of the crack.Patch broken floors, columns, and roofs, retouching with toner and paint once repair is made.Maintain good housekeeping practices with an emphasis on safety regulations.Perform other tasks as required by the supervisor/manager. Qualifications Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.Ability to apply commons sense understanding to carry out instructions.Ability to solve problems in a variety of situations.Knowledge of basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
