Our New York location is currently seeking a full time pastry cook to join our team!Position SummaryThe Pastry Cook is responsible for the daily preparation, baking, and finishing of all desserts, and any other specified baked goods in accordance with the Milos quality standards and specifications.Primary Role & ResponsibilitiesDaily production and preparation of desserts, pastries, and other related itemsAbility to learn, understand, and to execute daily recipes and menusFollowing recipes with accuracy to ensure consistency in productionMaintain a clean and orderly station and adhere to health and safety standardsInspects orders to ensure high quality and presentationPerform job functions with minimal supervisionWork cohesively with entire culinary staff as part of a teamRequired QualificationsCulinary Degree or CertificationAt least 2 year Restaurant/Bakery/Kitchen experience as a Pastry Cook or relevant positionAn understanding of Department of Health food safety standards Sense of urgency and comfort in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and listening skillsAbility to stay positive and calm under pressureAbility to multitaskFlexible schedule and open availability (full-time) to meet business needs
