Job Description :
Duval Ford has an immediate opening for a Parts Runner; This is a full time position. The driver is responsible maintaining the parts stockroom, receiving product, ordering regularly replenished goods.Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Receives parts, verifying the shipping documents
  • Verifies shipment quantities
  • Pulls and fills orders from stock.
  • Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
  • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary.
  • Notifies Production Manager of any part availability issues
  • Pulls orders for delivery to shop, making sure all parts are suitable for the application
  • Replenishes assigned inventory daily.
  • Completes Bin Checks
  • Participates in all training programs that are made available.
  • Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
  • Maintains professional appearance and conduct.
  • Maintains a neat work area.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Able to read and comprehend instructions, interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
  • Able to move and/or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have clear driving record
