Parts Room Attendent - Michael Foods Group : Job Details

The Inventory Clerk plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of supply management, coordinating activities between operations and maintenance to maintain adequate stock levels and issue parts in a timely manner. This position also contributes to cycle counting programs and continuous improvement initiatives. Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate with operations and maintenance to maintain adequate operating supplies in the stockroom and issue parts as needed. Offer recommendations on stock levels and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and identify potential problem areas. Assist in cycle counting programs and other continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of procurement activities. Interface with all departments to facilitate requisitioning, approval, purchase, and delivery of spare parts and consumable products. Utilize computerized maintenance systems (e.g., SAP) for history and parts inventory.
