Parts Manager - Siemens Energy : Job Details

**A Snapshot of Your Day**The Parts Manager is responsible for managing customer order activity through the order fulfillment cycle. This includes receiving orders from internal as well as external customers, monitoring status, expediting as required, proactively communicating with the customer if there are changes or delays, and responding to customer inquiries. The Parts Manager role has a significant impact to the financial management of Siemen Energy's revenue stream.**How You'll Make an Impact**+ Work with various departments and levels of management to resolve customer issues, both as an individual contributor and a facilitator of multi-disciplined teams.+ Demonstrate expertise in problem solving, bringing new ideas and creative solutions to existing processes and issues.+ Act as a highly functioning team member to assist all within the department.+ Serve as an escalation point to assist in resolving issues with orders.+ Embody the fact that they are the “Voice of the customer” within the company.**What You Bring**+ Associate degree or 4 years of experience in a customer service-based business is required. Bachelor's degree preferred.+ Minimum of 3+ year of experience in working with turbo compressors, rotating, machinery, or similar parts is required. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level. Preference given to those who have prior or current experience with Siemens Energy customers, equipment, or processes.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and requires independent analysis, decision-making skills, using prior experience and knowledge of company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard problems. Travel Domestically 10% of the time as needed+ Experience with a MRP system - SAP System experience preferred Strong verbal/written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft based applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) Strong work ethic with minimal oversight, accountable for results in an assigned region.+ Structured and methodical approach to work, must be able to manage multiple moving dates/targets. Experience in the Energy/Turbine Industry beneficial but not required+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Our personnel service the fleet across the USA and occasionally in Canada or abroad. Our personnel are highly trained and perform at a high level of expectation to safely provide OEM valued service to our clients.Siemens Energy SAM IST supports the aftermarket parts and upgrades business for multiple Siemens owned Industrial Steam Turbine name plates. Our installed base is global, leading to interaction with diverse customers from around the globe, with impact on many industries.
