Parts Manager, Hvy - Altorfer : Job Details

Supervise and manage the Heavy Construction Parts department. Manage all aspects of customer and service staff order processing and parts handling. Customer service, sales, and marketing responsibility. Occasional forklift or pickup truck operation. Inventory control and other administrative duties. Ability to perform parts counter functions as needed. Ability to perform backorder analysis as needed. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associates degree or minimum of 5 years previous parts operations experience required. Product knowledge and familiarity with on-highway trucks, diesel engines, electric power generation, and Caterpillar Construction Equipment preferred. Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, and organizational skills with a commitment to detail. Ability to train hydraulic hose assemblies as needed. Computer literate, PC experience with Office Outlook and knowledge of DBSI and Si. S Web preferred.
