Position Summary:The Parts & Logistics Coordinator is a dynamic, customer-facing role responsible for providing global support for Dexter's commercial laundry parts. This role serves as a key contact for distributor customers around the globe. The coordinator will deliver timely and accurate information regarding part identification, availability, ordering, and pricing, while also managing production scheduling and logistics to meet customer demand.Core Competencies:

  • Strong technical aptitude; previous experience in a technical or service-oriented environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert support for parts inquiries, including accurate parts lookup based on model and serial numbers.
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails, assisting distributors and service providers with parts-related questions and order processing.
  • Maintain and update product cost data and pricing; administer all pricing changes across relevant systems.
  • Invoice parts orders and credit memos, ensuring timely and accurate communication with distributors.
  • Assist in developing tools and resources to streamline parts identification and ordering for customers.
  • Monitor and manage part backorders, substitutions, and the lifecycle of obsolete parts.
  • Prioritize and organize workflow to ensure timely response to urgent and high-impact issues.
  • Maintain and manage databases, files, and documentation related to parts support.
  • Coordinate with the service department to log and track service-related calls and inquiries.
  • Develop, manage, and distribute production schedules to align with customer orders and delivery timelines.
  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination across sales, operations, and procurement to ensure efficient execution and customer success.
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Take ownership of your role, contribute to the success of the business, and support a positive, wellness-oriented work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team and business objectives.
Essential education, licenses, certifications, skills, and experience needed for this position:
  • Minimum of a 2-year technical degree, 4-year college degree preferred or related discipline.
  • 2-4 years previous customer service experience desired
