Parts Finisher, 1st Shift - Materion Corporation : Job Details

At Materion, everyone is included, respected and offered opportunity to grow. Join us! As the Parts Finisher you will perform routine finishing operations in sanding, polishing, and deburring. You will have the opportunity to:Inspect finishing applications to ensure established standards are met using basic hand tools. Use production line end equipment IE. Grit blaster, Ultrasonic Cleaner, Cascade oven, PTF and ASTM. Perform designated part verifications, fill out inspection reports and advise quality of any issues. Place finished parts in designated areas with safe handling of material and parts. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED. Up to 1 year of related experience. Basic computer skills. Experience working with hand and power tools. Ability to learn and operate fork truck. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Able to work 6 am- 2:30 pm. Must be able to work mandatory overtime on an as needed basis.
