Position Overview

We are seeking a corporate attorney with experience in private company governance, commercial transactions, and M&A, along with cannabis regulatory law expertise, to lead our growing Cannabis Law practice. The ideal candidate will have experience representing industry operators such as cultivators, processors, dispensaries, testing labs, transportation companies, or other ancillary businesses. Experience in other jurisdictions is a plus but not required.

Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Minimum of 6 years of law firm experience
  • Strong client relationship skills
  • Experience managing attorneys and staff
  • Experience with cannabis industry regulation, focusing on industry operators
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience in establishing and operating cannabis businesses, including strategic planning and design

Salary range: $225,000 - $235,000, contingent on book of business. Salaries can reach up to $1 million annually, with yearly bonuses offered.
