Job Description: Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, part of the State University of New York (SUNY) system is seeking two hourly part-time tutors (1 English, 1 Math) to focus on the Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP). The focus of the ASAP tutor is to employ active learning strategies with ASAP students in one-on-one and/or group sessions. The central responsibilities of the ASAP tutor are to provide interactive tutoring that focuses on specific course content and to help students develop strategies and habits that will allow them to grow as proactive learners.
