Join Right At School, where we provide enriching before and after school programs that ignite a passion for learning while ensuring a safe environment for children! Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour (commensurate with education and experience)

Program Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:55 AM - 8:40 AM and 2:50 PM - 6:00 PM

Your Role Will Involve:

• Daily Meetings: Participate in daily program meetings to discuss goals, share ideas, and encourage collaboration.
• Activity Planning: Organize and facilitate activities that align with program objectives and engage children of all ages in fun and educational experiences.
• Modeling Behavior: Create a safe and nurturing environment, serving as a role model by demonstrating positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Safety First: Monitor the activity environment, identify potential hazards, and follow all safety protocols, including attendance and incident documentation.
• Clear Communication: Effectively communicate with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• A team player who thrives in collaborative settings
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• A passion for inspiring a love for learning and promoting healthy lifestyles
• Flexibility to assist with additional local programs as needed

New Jersey State Requirements Include:

• Compliance with state-specific requirements
• In-person First Aid and CPR certification
• Clear tuberculosis test
• Proof of MMR vaccination
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School diploma/GED
