In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting the Store Manager with leading company initiatives to ensure maximum productivity. You will help in training high-performing AutoZoners in a safe environment while driving sales and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
- Taking charge of store operations in the absence of the Commercial Sales Manager and Store Manager during assigned shifts.
- Managing the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure timely service to commercial accounts.
- Delegating tasks to ensure store merchandising is completed efficiently.
- Handling cash registers and adhering to established cash handling protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and loss prevention measures.
- Utilizing ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or suitable alternatives.
- Maintaining a safe work environment by promoting best practices and using PPE.
- Monitoring cash flow, inventory levels, and security procedures.
- Ensuring high sales productivity and maintaining exceptional store appearance and merchandising standards.
- Conducting and reviewing opening and closing procedures.
- Managing emergency situations effectively and following proper accident protocols.
- Providing feedback on AutoZoner performance directly to the Store Manager.
- Addressing customer concerns promptly with the aim to turn complaints into compliments.
- Processing returns and managing inventory efficiently.
- Communicating AutoZoner issues and concerns confidentially to the Store Manager.
- Motivating the team to deliver amazing customer service and enhance sales productivity.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- ASE Certification is preferred.
- Exemplary integrity and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication skills.
