Job Title: Part Time Senior Civil Engineer

Work Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in the interview

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction, budget control, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project objectives through clear communication and efficient teamwork.
  • Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective engineering solutions to address complex challenges.
  • Mentor junior engineers to promote growth and skills development.
  • Ensure all projects meet industry standards, codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring positive project experiences and identifying future business opportunities.
  • Oversee project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Conduct quality control reviews on engineering designs and documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required; registration in Georgia preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil Engineering, with a diverse background in land development, site design, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal projects, including managing multiple projects, leading design teams, managing budgets and schedules, interfacing with multi-discipline teams, mentoring staff
  • Knowledge of State and Local government regulations affecting civil design and permitting
  • Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Experience in Metro Atlanta is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills
