Part Time Security Officer - St. Lawrence University : Job Details

To provide a safe and secure environment for members of the University community and visitors through the enforcement of University policies as well as village, state, and federal laws. Maintain a working knowledge of the St. Lawrence University student handbook, university rules & regulations, and security departmental policies & procedures. Patrol campus on foot, by bicycle, or by vehicle, dressed in authorized uniform. Respond to emergencies, provide assistance as appropriate, and summon appropriate assistance as required. Investigate and report all suspicious activity on campus. Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents and submit detailed written reports on appropriate forms and database. Provide money and safety escorts for the university community as requested. Unlock and secure all buildings according to procedures and special requests.
