Part-Time Sales Associate - Fastenal : Job Details

Job Overview: Start your sales career with us as a Part-Time Sales Associate, where each interaction is an opportunity to build customer relationships and drive business success. Key Responsibilities:

• Support business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer service activities.
• Provide value to customers through a consultative sales approach.
• Develop new and nurture existing relationships through leads, referrals, and prospecting.
• Coordinate resources to effectively address customer service needs.
• Conduct local sales calls using a company vehicle to visit customer sites.
• Perform other tasks as required to enhance branch success.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet our driving record requirements.
• Current enrollment or completion of a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, or related field, or possess customer service/industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Strong sales aptitude and desire to succeed in sales.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, and focused on customer service.
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Demonstrate core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
• Able to lift and carry packages weighing 25-50 lbs, with occasional weights up to 75 lbs.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
