Adecco is hiring a part-time weekend Registered Nurse (RN) for our partner in Long Island, NY and the surrounding area. The anticipated hourly wage for this position is between $48 and $62. Hourly wage may depend upon experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our community health outreach team. This floating RN position supports health events and wellness initiatives throughout Long Island, NY, providing screenings, education, and preventive care to diverse communities. The RN will play an essential role in promoting health awareness, connecting individuals to care, and ensuring a positive experience at community-based health events. The first event is upcoming 10/18/2025. Key Responsibilities • Travel to various community health events and outreach sites across Long Island. • Perform basic health assessments including vital signs, blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, and BMI screenings. • Provide patient education on preventive health, chronic disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices. • Administer medications or vaccines as appropriate under clinical guidelines. • Collaborate with community partners, event organizers, and other healthcare professionals. • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure proper handling of medical equipment and supplies. • Assist in setting up and breaking down event sites, maintaining safety and efficiency. • Promote a positive, compassionate, and culturally sensitive environment at every event. Qualifications: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State. • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) required; BSN preferred. • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in community health, outpatient, or public health settings. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. • Ability to travel independently to different locations across Long Island. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
