Job Title: Part-timeRegistered Nurse Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Registered Nurse to join our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. A Part-Time Registered Nurse will be key support to the CCBHC team, which specializes in providing comprehensive outpatient services to individuals with complex needs who are frequently impacted in different systems, such as behavioral health, housing, and criminal legal system. As a Part-Time Registered Nurse on the CCBHC team, your primary role will be to deliver health assessments, counseling, psychoeducation, and medication management services to a caseload of participants. This role requires a strong commitment to ethical and regulatory guidelines while promoting recovery, wellness, and optimal health for our clients. Our CCBHC team is a multidisciplinary group, including psychiatric nurse practitioners, mental/behavioral health specialists, case managers and peer support staff. Together, we provide a range of services such as crisis intervention, medication-assisted treatment, individual and group therapies, psychosocial rehabilitation, housing support, and linkage to primary medical care. Our ultimate goal is to improve our clients' quality of life and enhance their overall well-being while also addressing mental and behavioral health needs. Salary: The hourly salary range for the role is $45.00 - $50.00 per hour. Shift Hours: This is a part-time position for a program that operates Monday - Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm. The 14 hours fall within these operating hours.Location Address: 2090 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard, New York, NY 10027. Our office is easily accessible by public transportation.Workplace Flexibility: In-person (staff roles designated as fully in-person are eligible for in-person workplace differential pay). What you will be doing:
- Improve the overall health of program participants, including promotion of physical and mental health integration.
- Conduct health screenings, provide linkage to primary and specialty care, and educate on health and wellness.
- Perform blood draws, monitor and administer psychotropic injections consistent with consumer needs preferences and practice standards, and prepare of medication to be dispensed.
- Complete progress notes and assessments in the electronic health record within a timely manner.
- Work with external stakeholders - such as hospitals, shelters, jails, primary care - to achieve positive client outcomes.
- Provide services in a strengths-based, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive manner.
- Helps maintain a safe and clean environment ensuring proper use and disposal of medical supplies/equipment as required, adheres to infection control protocols, and notifies their supervisor immediately of any potential safety hazard identified in the office/client-care environment.
What we are looking for:
- Active New York state license as a Registered Nurse;
- At least two years of experience working with adults who have needs in the areas of mental health, substance use, trauma, violence risk, homelessness, frequent psychiatric hospitalizations, and criminal legal system involvement;
- Strong commitment to social justice and the CASES mission;
- Individuals with lived experience are encouraged to apply.

Preferred but not required:
- Experience in a multidisciplinary setting and field-based clinical work.
- Previous use of an electronic health record, Footholds AWARDS preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish.
