Hourly Wage Starting at $18 Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Front Desk & Visitor Management:
- Greet and welcome all patients, clients, and visitors with a positive and friendly demeanor.
- Check in visitors and either direct or escort them to their destination.
- Maintain a visitor sign-in log and inform employees of visitor arrivals or cancellations.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed.
- Administrative Support:
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.
- Maintain and tidy the reception and common areas.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Confidentiality & Compliance:
- Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and patient information, including protected health information (PHI).
- Promptly report any suspected or known violations of confidentiality to the Administrator.
Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous administrative or receptionist experience is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with clerical functions and a multi-line phone system.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret general business documents and procedures.
- Problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
Physical & Work Environment: - This role requires sitting, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- The work environment is typically a low to moderate noise level.
- Prolonged use of a computer is required.
