Title: Part-Time Program Director for TESOL/Bilingual4160Department: Teacher EducationCampus: Purchase, New YorkDate Posted: 08/22/2025FLSA: ExemptStarting Date: As soon as possibleContact: Please submit an online applicationBasic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Execute the administrative responsibilities equivalent to those of a graduate level department chair in TESOL/Bilingual teacher preparation program.Principal Responsibilities: Maintain virtual office hours, three clock hours per week, to advise current and prospective TESOL/Bilingual students. Work with LIU Hudson's Recruitment Manager to enhance enrollment in TESOL/Bilingual programs. Explain programs, curricula, etc., to prospective students. Review the admission files of TESOL/Bilingual applicants. Audit the files for TESOL/Bilingual students who have filed intent to graduate forms. Collaborate with the Director of Field Experience and Outreach as needed to ensure students are in appropriate student/supervised teaching placements. Conduct virtual department meetings as needed with adjunct faculty.
